Beauty Review: Believe Skin, Affordable Drugstore Skincare

If I told you I built an entire skincare routine with products that cost $5 or less — would you believe it?

Believe Skin is Dollar General’s skincare brand. Since it’s payday, I took my lunch break to peruse my local Dollar General Beauty section, and I was astonished at the price, packaging, and product Believe Skin. The shopping experience was simple and required no help from a fancy beauty associate — no shade — but it was the easiest beauty purchase I’ve ever done, and here’s why:

The products were all in stock and easily visible with the main ingredients on the front of the packaging.

After checkout, I almost washed my face in the restroom at the office, but my mama raised me better than that so I decided to create a reel in my office (LOL)!

Fast forward, I’ve used the product for at least 30 days, and Believe Skin can sit next to many of your favorite skincare brands. You would not notice a difference.

Here are the six products that cost me less than $25:

  • Hydrating Sheet Mask [infused with aloe vera + bamboo]
  • Daily Gel Cleanser [infused with coconut extract + vitamin E]
  • Exfoliating Pads [infused with glycolic + salicylic acid]
  • 3-in-1 Cleansing Wipes [infused with hyaluronic acid + papaya]
  • Face Toning Mist [infused with witch hazel + lotus extract]
  • Hydrating Gel Cream [infused squalane + rosehip]

Now, that’s some affordable skincare, and more importantly, the products are efficacious and get the job done!

Additionally, these products are vegan and cruelty-free. If I had to pick a favorite, it would definitely be the exfoliating pads because they do wonders for my maskne.

To see the products up close and personal, watch this reel then go grab a few products for yourself!
