So let’s talk about being on bed rest while preparing to virtually launch your company. I am less than a month away from officially launching Uniquely Beautiful, but of course, Fabio wants to make things hard for me. I was working at a call center part time, my schedule was Monday through Thursday but unfortunately, Fabio would tap me out every Wednesday: complete shutdown. I was going to the hospital once a week for three weeks because my pain was unbearable. I was literally on bed rest the first three weeks of March. Mind you I still have photos I need to get done and other stuff to prepare for the launch but I can’t because I’m stuck in bed. People think that because you have a desk job you should be fine… Not my case especially working 4 days straight, it’s physically too much for me, Sad right? I had a decision to make, do I stay at this job that I’m never going to make it on Thursday because I’m tapped out by Wednesday or do I quit? Is it worth me continuously being in the ER, being on bed rest? I prayed about it and I quit, nothing is worth me continuously being down especially if I can limit my bedrest days. God was showing me that it’s meant for me to Just work from home. Not to mention my birthday was coming too. How do you celebrate your birthday without overdoing it? How much fun can you really have? I usually celebrate each weekend of the month of March but because I was stuck on bed rest for about three weeks I was limited to just one week. I partied all week and it definitely caught up with me but now it was crunch time.
Time to get the Uniquely Beautiful website together.
Although I was forced to cancel the launch party due to my health and other factors, I was determined to rise above and still launch April 6th but just virtually. Fabio had me down but I refuse to allow my circumstances to stop me from achieving what I set a goal to achieve. It was still a victory for me, still a win. I’ve never been more proud of myself. But let’s talk about how amazing God is, not only was I able to launch but I got a job as a virtual stylist for this app the day before my company launched. Sometimes God pushes you forcing you to sit down so he can prepare you for your blessings.
